~ Yoga, philosophy, Shiva dance workshop ~
Shiva is one of Hindu trinity known as destroyer, cosmic energy of transformation, god of yoga and god of dance.
What is “Dance of Shiva” that creates and destroys the universe?
Let’s approach it with dance and philosophy.
We start with yoga to prepare for Chhau dance. Experience Chhau dance from East India with roots in martial arts. With graceful and powerful movements of Chhau along with the philosophy of Shiva Nataraja, become Shiva inside out.

Yuki is yogini, artist and teacher, trained in Yoga, mantra chanting, Indian classical Dhrupad vocal, Japanese Butoh dance, and Indian martial dance, Chhau. Based in Brisbane, Australia.

〜ヨガ、哲学、剣舞、シヴァダンス〜
ヒンドゥー教の三大神、破壊神として知られるシヴァ。偉大な変容のエネルギーであり、ヨガの神、ダンスの神としても知られています。
宇宙を破壊、再生すると言われている、シヴァのダンスとは？
踊るシヴァ神、ナタラージャにまつわるシンプルなヨガ哲学と、ダンスによってアプローチしていきます。
東インドのチャウダンスは、武術に由来し、優雅で力強く、シヴァの特性を豊かに表現します。
ヨガで心身を整えた後、チャウダンスの基礎である剣舞と、シヴァのダンスを体験しましょう。
曲線に波打つバランスの中で、体幹を鍛え、バランス感覚を養い、全身を引き締めるユニークな身体使い。短時間で抜群の運動効果を発揮します。
ヨガ、ダンス初心者の方も歓迎です。

タニグチユキ
2003年、サンフランシスコの大学で心理学を学ぶ中、ヨガに出会い、ヨガが体と心に及ぼす恩恵を実感し、ヨガ教師となる。後にヨガを通じて、キルタンやマントラに触れ、音の力への深い興味から、2008年より毎年のインド滞在が始まる。インドでマントラ詠唱、北インド古典声楽ドゥルパド、サンスクリット語を学び、音のヨガを追求する。2010年、マントラCD「NADA YOGA」をリリース。踊りにおいては、2007年舞踏に出会い、2017年東インドの武術に由来する民族舞踊、チャウダンスを始める。インド、オリッサ州にて、Dr. Ileana CitaristiとGuru Trilochana Mohantaより学ぶ。別名、ヨゲーシュワリ・ギリ。オーストラリア在住。
